On Sunday, October 20, 2024, the Hunt County Sheriff’s Office responded to a call regarding an aggravated kidnapping in the 6800 block of County Road 3512 in Quinlan. Upon arrival, deputies discovered that the suspect and victim were no longer on the scene. Evidence and information gathered indicated that a female had been taken from the residence at gunpoint. The victim was later released and found safe in Kaufman County.
The suspect, identified as 25-year-old Damen Jacob Gutierrez, is wanted for Aggravated Kidnapping. Authorities warn that Gutierrez is considered armed and dangerous, and the public should not approach him.
