Planned lane closures will affect IH 30 this week as contractors expand work into new areas of the project. The focus will be on the westbound main lanes and frontage road areas between FM 551 and FM 3549 in Fate, as well as ongoing work between FM 2642 and Erby Campbell in Royse City. Additional activities include bridge widening at John King Blvd in Rockwall and temporary pavement widening for traffic phasing.

- Location: From FM 2642 to FM 35 in Royse City
- Time: Nighttime from 9:00 PM to 5:00 AM.

- Location: From FM 551 to FM 3549 in Fate for temporary barrier installation
- Time: Nighttime from 9:00 PM to 5:00 AM.
- Ramp Closures (one at a time):
- WB off ramp, Exit 70, to FM 3549
- WB on ramp from FM 551
- WB on ramp from the westbound frontage road between FM 551 and FM 3549
Thursday, October 17:
- IH 30 Eastbound Main Lane Various Lanes Closure:
- Location: Just east and west of the overpass at John King Blvd in Rockwall
- Time: Nighttime from 9:00 PM to 5:00 AM.
- Intermittent Ramp Closures:
- EB on ramp from SH 205
- EB off ramp, Exit 70, to FM 3549
Motorists are advised to plan accordingly and seek alternate routes if possible during these closure times.
