The Greenville Independent School District Board of Trustees has announced the vacancy of the District 1 Trustee position. The Board plans to fill this vacancy by December 1, 2024.
Qualified individuals interested in serving in this capacity are encouraged to apply. The appointed trustee will serve until the May 2025 election, when the position will be included on the ballot.
To be eligible for the position, applicants must be residents of Greenville ISD District 1. Interested candidates should complete an Application for Appointment and submit it along with a letter of interest and a resume.
Application materials can be submitted in person at the Wesley Martin Administration Building located at 4004 Moulton St. or via email to gisdboard@greenvilleisd.com. The deadline for submission is Monday, November 11, 2024. It is important to note that Greenville ISD will be closed for fall break from October 14-18, 2024, and applications can be dropped off starting Monday, October 21, 2024.
Interviews for qualified applicants will be conducted by the Greenville ISD Board of Trustees on Wednesday, November 20, 2024.
