Paris Junior College will host an Open House and Dedication for its new Workforce Building on September 21, 2024, at 6500 Monty Stratton Parkway in Greenville.
Construction on the new training facility, which began on August 1, 2023, has recently been completed. The Open House will run from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. and will include a building tour and light refreshments following a dedication ceremony.
“This is an exciting day for all of us at Paris Junior College,” said Dr. Pamela Anglin, PJC President, in August 2023. “We’re very proud to be partnering with L-3Harris in a partnership where the sky’s the limit. This fall an apprenticeship program will begin with them, as well as a pre-apprenticeship program with Hunt County high schools for an airplane maintenance technician program.”
The new facility is designed to enhance the region’s workforce development and educational opportunities.
