On Monday, August 26, 2024, at 5:39 PM, the Harrison County Sheriff's Office received a 911 call reporting two bodies floating away from a boat near the boat ramp of Brandy Branch Reservoir, located off FM-3251 in Harrison County.
Deputies and Texas Parks and Wildlife officers responded to the scene, where they recovered the bodies of 77-year-old twins Ronald Breeding and Donald Breeding. Justice of the Peace Crawford pronounced both men deceased and has ordered an autopsy.
The Texas Parks and Wildlife Department is investigating the circumstances surrounding the drownings, which are currently considered accidental.
