In a letter dated July 2, 2024, Pyrotecnico's Regional Director Justin Pruett took responsibility for the underwhelming fireworks display at the Sulphur Springs Symphony League's Independence Day Concert on June 29th. The letter acknowledged that the show did not meet expectations set by the Symphony League, with whom Pyrotecnico has collaborated since 2016.
Pruett expressed regret, stating, "We apologize for the disappointment felt by those in attendance." In response to the incident, Pyrotecnico offered a replacement fireworks show at no additional cost and fully credited the League for the original display.
"We are committed to working together to ensure all future display planning efforts result in the very best show possible," Pruett affirmed in the letter. He also extended an offer to produce a replacement show pending approval from the League's Board of Directors.
